Anyone passing our office in Alton High Street recently may have noticed the smartly dressed rabbit sitting in our window over the Easter holidays. The giant cuddly toy was the star attraction in our ‘name the bunny’ competition which was open to all and free to enter.

It was lovely to see children’s faces light up when they saw the rabbit in our window and we loved hearing people’s reasons for choosing a particular name. We also took part in the Alton Matters Easter Egg Hunt and people often spotted the competition when they were counting the number of egg stickers in our window.

The winning bunny name, drawn at random by director Jacqui de Silva, was “Pepper”. This name was chosen by 11 year old Ella who came in with her Mum to collect her prize. Ella was delighted to have won and said that she had already picked out a special spot at home for “Pepper” to sit.
